What a delight it was to work with Ben!
I bought a place that needed a kitchen makeover and other touches throughout the house. The initial cost quoted to me by competitors were quite expensive, so someone suggested I give them a call.

Not only was the cost more reasonable, but the attention to detail was by far superior to what I have experienced. Along the way, both Ben and Carm offered options to keep the cost down, but always with the final look in mind. They both went beyond the call of duty in making sure that I would be satisfied with the final product, and I was in fact impressed with the results!

My wife and I wanted to convert a three-season sun room into a functional home based four-season office space for our use. Because of the excellent work provided previously by staff of Steadfast builders, we contacted Carm, who did a thorough analysis of our needs and together with Ben generated a price quote for the job. We also asked for a quote to screen our gazebo and to finish the ceiling of the gazebo with tongue and groove wood.

Throughout the work on both projects, Ben and Carm worked extensively with us and were very flexible in meeting our changing needs and design ideas. Due to the location of the sun-room i.e., at the other end of the house from the furnace and air-conditioning units, there were some question as to how to provide adequate heating and cooling to the room. Steadfast was able to come up with an innovative and fully-acceptable way to solve the issue, working in conjunction with tradespeople.

We particularly appreciated the project management approach taken by Steadfast. During the renovation of the room time frame, we were out of the country and Steadfast continued to communicate with us on a daily basis via instant messaging and text.

The dedication to excellent quality of service and workmanship exhibited by Steadfast is one of their continuing strengths. As a testament to our trust in Steadfast, we gave them full access to our home for the month while we were away and the projects continued and our home was carefully looked after. In one of our daily communications, Carm indicated that she was thinking about an issue that she had encountered and so returned to the house one evening to work on the issue and did not leave until the issue was resolved.

As I am writing this note my desk in the office i.e. a desk that was custom made for us by Steadfast, I am looking around and noticing the extra touches and custom work carried out by Steadfast. The quality of work is exceptional, from the custom ceiling, brick accent wall, window installation, barn door and crown moldings that match the ceiling.

Would we hire Steadfast for other work that we wish to have completed? Absolutely! Would we recommend Steadfast to our friends? We already have. In fact, based on the quality of work done by Steadfast in our home, our next door neighbour hired Steadfast to completely renovate their kitchen.

We are delighted that we were able to work with Ben on significant renovations to our home. Ben was marvellous. Before starting the renovations, they helped us improve on our design while keeping costs down. They have a great eye for design, colours and materials. Wonderfully, Ben took on managing all aspects of the renovations. She arranged the workers and trades required, sourced materials, and left us feeling confident. In fact we were so confident that we left town for a month while Ben undertook the renovations...And, yes, they completed everything on time.
